毎年12月に開催されているアジア圏最大のジュニア大会REDtone KLジュニアオープンが、マレーシア政府の新型コロナ感染予防のための条件付き活動制限令（RMCO）が12月31日まで延長されたことにより、残念ながら中止と決定されました。
以下、大会からのお知らせ原文抜粋です。
 
‘‘With reference to our Prime Minister’s announcement on the Sun, 30 Aug 2020 on the extension of the Relax Movement Control Order (RMCO) to 31 Dec 2020, SRAFTKL Organizing Committee have decided to cancel the above event for this year. The cancellation is done after all serious thoughts and consideration on the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the safety of all officials/player/parents & spectators. In additional to the above, borders are still closed to all foreign visitors. In view of all the above, we have no choice but to cancel this biggest and most prestigious Jr squash event in ASIA.
We like to thank all Associations for supporting the REDtone KLJO all these years.
